Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide candidates to hiring managers who possess the competence, character, and chemistry needed to successfully perform their jobs.
Ensure that every employee has the necessary HR driven information they need to be on-boarded and engaged.
Ensures accurate and timely information and communication regarding the policies and procedures at Apex International.
Develop & maintain an organization of high performing people that are aligned with Apex's Vision, Purpose & Values by providing high level leadership in the department including Selection, Training, Management, Corrective Improvement, Performance Evaluation, and employee Development.
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the HRIS Maintenance and Reporting relative to the processing of personnel records and reports ensuring accurate metrics and data are provided to management and outside agencies as needed.
Workplace investigations as needed and reporting on findings of same.
Develop and maintain an organization of high performing people who are aligned with Apex Vision, Purpose and Values and provide guidance on same to assigned business partners.
Understand and maintain a culture of lean action within the department.
Perform other work as assigned.

Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Required
Experience: This position requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of documented success as a HR Generalist. Knowledge in HR normally acquired by the attainment of a 4 year college degree in Human Resources, or similar discipline or equivalent.
Preferred
Experience: Candidates with experience in a non-union manufacturing environment are preferred. PHR, SPHR, GPHR, or HRGC Certifications highly preferred.

This position requires effective interpersonal communication skills, a good facilitator and trainer.

Technical Competencies:
Uses company processes and technology to improve the quality and efficiency of service, follows processes as described, and applies training effectively.
Can maintain and grow technical knowledge and expertise. Can be accurate, precise and pay attention to detail.
Has an expert knowledge of personal computer operation. Is proficient at Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 or higher.
Can read and write at a college level.
Understands and can do basic math, algebra and calculus to create a spreadsheet report or produce a query.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
