Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently hiring for a RN Compliance and Education Director and looking for someone that has a desire to empower our staff to serve others with integrity and compassion, and to be part of an award winning, Great Employers recipient, long-term care community.
As the RN Compliance and Education Director, you will help maximize our commitment to being part of a community and service to our residents by assisting and providing training for all of our nursing staff, including orientation and the onboarding process.
This role is a Monday through Friday dayside salaried role with occasional schedule adjustments for off-hour needs that are typically scheduled.
RESPONSIBILITIES In partnership with respective departments, the RN Compliance and Education Director will research, create, communicate and coordinate operational policies and procedures for items such as corporate policies, HIPAA, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
Complete all documentation for training in accordance with state, federal and compliance requirements.
Ensures the educational curriculum meets or exceeds state, federal and accreditation requirements.
Submit to state agency as required.
Plans and conducts state and federally required in-service programs throughout all campuses.
Oversees certification or training programs for nursing assistants.
Develops and conducts an orientation program for new, rehired and contract employees.
Conducts and coordinates new employee job training and CPR training.
The RN Compliance and Education Director will assist RN Educators with hands-on clinical orientation and instruction to licensed and unlicensed personnel.
Collaborate with community organizations to obtain required knowledge of upcoming changes in legislation.
Collaborate with community organizations on emergency preparedness, educational opportunities and health care opportunities.
Remain current on new developments by attending professional institutions, reading professional journals and attending professional seminars.
In conjunction with Human Resources, work on an appropriate onboarding schedule for new personnel.
Formulate the goals and objectives of the in-service educational programs of this facility.
Qualifications EDUCATION Preference of a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, and a graduate of an approved RN program, BS degree preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS The RN Compliance and Education Director will have a minimum of four (4) years' experience in long term care facilities.
Adult education and training experience preferred.
Must have experience in supervision and principles, practice of teaching, etc.
Good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
