Job Description:
GE Quilt Designs offers a variety of quilting related products to our customers.
The Warehouse worker will work in various positions to get orders prepared, fulfilled and shipped.
Fulfillment:
Accurately Adequately and efficiently pack customer orders of various products Pack to ensure products are not damaged in the shipment process Ensure accurate shipment is going out to the correct customer Work with managers to maintain adequate shipping supplies including boxes, tape, labels, etc.
Keep shipping area neat, tidy and organized placing overstock in storage as needed Fabric Cutting/Folding:
Accurately cut fabric bolts/rolls to designated yardage Adhere to fabric processing priority list as designated by manager Fold, bag, and label fabric products according to GE Designs protocols Collate, count and bundle patterns and notions Assist in arranging, boxing and organizing fabric in efforts to keep warehouse neat and tidy Maintain consistent and exceptionally high product quality standards Qualifications/Skills:
Prior work experience in similar position preferred Passion for quilting, art, design, crafts or knitting desired Ability and willingness to follow direction provided by manager Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude while working independently and collaboratively Ability to thrive in a flexible and results oriented work environment Driven individual who proactively completes tasks in order to ensure productivity Physical Requirements:
Ability to consistently lift 40 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds Ability to climb stairs Ability to stand up to 8 hours Schedule:
