(EPS) is a growing Commercial Electrical Contractor in business for over 35 years is currently seeking an Electrical Project Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate for this position must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi-task in a variety of administrative duties, and a general understanding of the electrical construction industry.
This position works closely supporting our Project Managers by assisting in project start-up and close-out documentation, managing permits, producing electrical panels, and assisting with contract documentation to name a few.

Job Requirements Results-driven experience assisting in project management Possesses strong leadership and effective communication skills to help maintain a clear understanding of each project's status and updates, including tracking, and the skill of having a strong foresight for the future in helping achieve the EPS's sales objectives and goals.
Ability to coordinate efforts across the entire organization by developing and implementing innovative work-flow patterns to help streamline the construction project management processes Perform a variety of administrative duties including managing electrical permits, creating electrical panel labels, gathering project information, managing change orders and assisting with returns to vendors.
Ability to understand and interpret project contracts, assist in invoicing customers, preparing project bid bonds, certificates of insurance, change orders, and preparation of contracts Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Systems software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Understanding of construction software (Procure or PlanGrid) is also a plus and any experience of SAGE/SSO software would be beneficial Help organize and assist in monthly invoicing and preparing purchase orders Ability to take notes and photos while attending jobsite walkthroughs and project meetings with General Contractors Occupation:

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
