Monday - Friday 2-10 MUST HAVE:
Prior experience navigating and troubleshooting PLC programs, and prior knowledge of Allen Bradley.
Summary:
The Automation Maintenance Technician is responsible for the manufacturing plant's automated systems.
This technician will be the go to person to assist in troubleshooting of automated equipment.
Engineering of existing/new systems will be required in this role.
Automation Maintenance Technicians will also assume the responsibilities of a maintenance technician when required.
Continuous improvement of machinery or production process will also be a main focus.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for navigating programs within PLC.
Troubleshooting of industrial automated systems.
Modify or create new controls in automated control systems.
Ensure machine uptime by swiftly acting upon maintenance calls.
Install new equipment/upgrades to existing equipment.
Perform preventative maintenanceCommunicate completion of work to equipment owners.
Participate in recording work in our CMMS system.
Responsible for complying with environmental, health, and safety programs.
Thorough understanding of electricity, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems as they relate to heavy industrial equipment.
Skills and
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical amplitude.
Allen Bradley SLC 500 experience.
Siemens Simatic S7 experience is a plusEducation and
Experience:
Journeyman or Master's Certification with PLC background is highly desired High School Diploma or equivalent.
Associates Degree in relevant technical field (Mechatronics, Automation, METS, etc.
) At least 2 years of modifying controls in a manufacturing environment.
Valid driver's license.
