Responsibilities:
Actively promote and maintain a culture of lean action within the organization so that we live lean better than any other organization.
Customer focused expert who ensures the lean manufacturability of our new customer products within the Apex value stream.
Develop and innovate manufacturing solutions that lower costs, increase revenue or add value to existing customer products.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
This position requires at least 1-3 years of experience in a process improvement role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated experience leading Lean initiates/rapid improvement events.
Knowledge Requirements:
To be effective, this position requires specific knowledge of lean manufacturing terms and techniques and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering. Requires specific knowledge in manufacturing, ideally in the personal care, cosmetics, food or pharmaceutical products industry. An understanding of cGMP, DPE/SPC, CAPA, ISO, and CAD is highly desirable.
Technical Competencies:
Demonstrated analytical ability with understanding of basic statistics
Strong project management and organization skills
Ability to exercise judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to provide innovative solutions
Ability to effectively teach and mentor others in learning new concepts and utilizing new tools
Strong focus on customer service
Ability to manage timelines and balance multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
Licenses and Certifications: Lean Six Sigma BlackBelt Certification is preferred.
