Apex is seeking a disciplined Supply Planning Manager with a wide breath of experience in Sales and Operating Planning, a semi-annual 12 month rolling rough cut capacity plan with strong management experience. We are looking for a self-directed, resourceful, effective communicator.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills & a customer oriented mindset
Management Competencies: Must possess the ability to develop and maintain an organization of people
Qualification Requirements:
Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in Production Planning, Demand Planning and/or Inventory Planning in a manufacturing environment in addition to a minimum of 3 years management experience supervising others. The ability to exert influence across functional departments and customers.
Knowledge Requirements:
To be successful this position requiresstrong communication and decision making skills in developing recommendations, solutions and scenarios. A deep understanding of MRP processes and use of software such as Alliance. Requires a high level of competence to leverage Apex ability to innovate and create solutions for customers. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Preference to candidates with the following Certifications or required class attendance:
Experience with Lean / Six Sigma
Prefer candidates with planning certification through APICS or ISM
