Job Description
Assist supervisor in the operation of the department to meet quality, production and regulatory requirements. To provide the highest standards of hands on know-how, efficiency and job flexibility in order to directly produce quality product. The majority of this position s accountability is working directly on production and product.
Employees are expected to support the quality and concepts inherent in the business philosophies of Lake Region Medical, including a variety of job related tasks which may not be specific to this position profile.
Accountabilities include:
Group Leader, with the assistance of the Team Leader, is responsible for efficient job staging, line flow, product flow, material acquisition and related production accountabilities.
Plan daily schedules and make work assignments for each team in order to produce products that meet quality standards and production schedules.
Start of shift, review previous shift s log book entries with Team Leaders to ensure they are aware of any issues.
End of shift, ensure that Team Leaders have entered all significant communication in the log book to ensure that following shift is aware of any issues.
Educate and train Team Leaders and team members to be responsible for the quality of their work and the quality of their team. Guide them to take the initiative to identify, highlight and report problems and waste in the process, without fear of negative results or failure.
Assist in the development of, and guide Team Leader and team members on following standard work.
Assist Supervisor in updating and maintaining Visual Management Board information
Conduct daily meeting with Team Leaders to review Visual Management Board information and ensure that production needs will be met.
Maintain open communication with other Group Leaders, Team Leaders, and Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment. Conduct daily walk through of work area.
Coach/train Team Leader and team members to identify and eliminate scrap in the production processes.
Coach/train Team Leaders on procedures, goals, trends and company policies.
Schedule/request maintenance of all equipment and fixtures.
Generates production reports specific to area of operation.
Assist Team Leader with the training of new team members or new work procedures.
Assist Team Leader and team members with development activities.
Substitute for Team Leader at daily Team meetings and other activities during Team Leaders absence.
Ensures that all processes and procedures are strictly followed. Stays current on all S.O.P. and print changes.
Maintains the highest standard of product quality and accountability in order to ensure QSR and ISO-EN13485 compliance for all activities within the production area.
Apply continuous improvement/lean concepts to identify and eliminate non-value added tasks and/or activities.
Timely and regular attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Six (6) months related experience and/or training in a leadership role.
Thorough knowledge of procedures and operations performed within their area of responsibility.
Must maintain positive work relationships with work teams and support staff.
Ability to effectively lead a work group.
Good hand and finger dexterity.
Maintains acceptable work history and quality levels.
Must be able to make independent decisions within scope of responsibility.
Competent written and oral communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
